Overview
AdventHealth Redmond is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (PA or APRN) to join our Critical Care Unit as a nocturnist APP. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven, collaborative healthcare team while making a meaningful impact on critically ill patients in a growing Northwest Georgia community.
Position Overview
In this role, you will provide high-quality critical care coverage during night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 7-on/7-off schedule, offering a balanced and predictable work schedule. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and hospital team members to support continuity of care, manage complex critical care patients, and perform advanced procedures within your credentialed scope.
Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality patient care in the Critical Care Unit with remote supervision by an Intensivist.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and hospital leadership to promote seamless patient management and continuity of care.
• Perform advanced procedures such as chest tube placement, paracentesis, needle thoracostomy, intubation, lumbar punctures, central and arterial line placement, and other procedures as credentialed.
• Apply strong clinical judgment and procedural proficiency in the management of complex critical care cases.
Qualifications
• Current PA or APRN license in the state of Georgia.
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a PA or APRN in a hospital setting.
• Prior ICU experience as an Advanced Practice Provider strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to perform advanced medical procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a competitive compensation package over $200k, inclusive of a quality incentive bonus. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, training, and overall qualifications. The incentive bonus recognizes performance across key areas, including quality, compliance, teamwork, and productivity.
